Self Catering Accommodation for Country Lovers

Accommodation
Three, well equipped, warm, self-catering cottages, which sleep 2, 3 or 4, have emerged from the careful refurbishment of the steading building.

All cottages have a multi-purpose main room with TV/DVD, microwave, cooker, fridge, settee and table and chairs. Cooking is by gas in Barn and Stable Cottages and electricity in Loft Cottage. Each cottage has one bedroom with additional sleeping in the living area. Barn cottage was refurnished in 2010 with a view to making it more comfortable for couples. There is a double bed in the bedroom and new settee and armchair in the living room. A single futon can be placed in the living area if separate sleeping is required. In Loft Cottage the bedroom is upstairs and it has a new king-size shaker style bed, a 3' single bed, and a single futon bed (which can easily be moved downstairs if required). Stable cottage was completely refitted in 2008 and now has two 3' pull-out beds in the main room, as well as non-slip flooring, ideal for painting and craft activities. It has 3' bunk beds in the bedroom.

Loft and Barn Cottages can be rented together. These cottages have an internal door and groups adapt the accommodation to suit their particular needs. If all 3 cottages are rented together, up to 12 people can be accommodated. Small discounts will be given for parties renting more than one cottage or for staying for more than one week.

Each cottage has a shower room (see picture) with shower, WC and wash basin. The layout (see plan) of these cottages has been designed to offer families and groups flexibility should they wish to stay together at one location. If two, or even all three, cottages are booked by the same group, a reduced rate will be applied. Electricity is included in the rental. Bed linen and towels are supplied. Stable Cottage has a gentle ramp to the door, wider doors and a shower room suitable for wheelchair users. There is a laundry area, including washing machine and drying room, for use by guests at Steading Cottages. There is plenty of parking space in the grounds.  For picnics or playing there is a large grassy area with views south over the valley of the Spey to the Grampian Mountains.
